Basically a reverse of this trip.

Bad weather across the upper midwest treated us to 15mph all the way across Indiana...

So, late in to Chicago - but that only amounted to where we sat waiting for the Denver-bound train. In Union Station in Chicago or on the train. The train was less crowded.

And there was beer.

So only a couple of hours in Chicago - but more storm delays by the time we hit Galesburg, IL.

I captured a funnel cloud on video - will edit that and post in the next day or so - still looked very wet across southern Iowa and Nebraska and that totaled up speed limit delays of about 2 hours getting in to Denver.

Instead of 7:15 it was more like 9:15 by the time we were headed west in a cab.

Time to scrape off train-gunk again and harass the puppies. Then maybe post some more of the pictures from Pemaquid Point and Popham State Park.

In Maine - in to Boston about 9:30 local time Wednesday night.

Caught a bus to Portland and to the house by about 12:45 Thursday morning.

Didn't do much of anything the rest of the day Thursday except get the travel gunk scraped off...look around the property and try and decide how the next week would go...

Just got back from getting some lobster and salmon - Pemaquid Point over the weekend - another beach in there somewhere...maybe a boat out on the Gulf of Maine yet.

Will try to get some of the east-bound trip video edited and posted yet this weekend - along with some pictures. Net access is a little limited but we should get something up.
